Summary: Provide administrative support to Corporate Quality department Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide reproductions of engineering drawings on microfilm in accordance with established procedures and corporate needs. Route new and revised Engineering ECNs, TQPLs and drawings on a timely basis. Manage and maintain Engineer, third party military, ISO, agency and customer files under department's control and exercises appropriate document control. Recommend changes in procedures and equipment to improve efficiency of operation, reduce costs and improve Engineering services. Enter and maintain item Masters into the Management Information System. Enter and monitor Bills of Material into the Management Information System. Coordinate meetings with other departments to resolve problems, establish new systems and change existing systems and procedures. Perform last inspection of engineering changes as customer advocate to identify bill of material and drawing changes. Process ECNs in conformance with ISO 9001 standards and corporate procedure manuals. Represent Grayhill during ISO and customer audits of Engineering Services areas. Train new Engineers in the correct ECN procedure and provide them with Engineering Services Procedure Manual. Train new Engineers in SOP related to Engineering Service functions. Order supplies, materials and services as necessary for the Engineering Services group. Process requests from internal customers to add a standard part number, SD/PR or TQPL. Verify daily if released prints and drawings are imported into secure corporate viewpoint system. Scan ECNs and attachments, TQPLs and miscellaneous documents into appropriate records. Create PDF files for procedures, manuals and appropriate documents. Assign ECN numbers to engineering groups. Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Manufacturing Enterprise and/or Database software experience preferred. We value diversity and inclusion .
