Job Title: Support Staff Employment Status: Hourly Compensation Range: $16.25-$20/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, flexible scheduling Description: Support Staff provide supportive home care services to the clients of Lakeview Supported Living Services (LSLS) at the direction of the Client Services Manager. The responsibilities of Support Staff include, but are not limited to: Assisting with or performing personal cares. Preparing meals. Grocery shopping. Transporting and supporting clients during errands or community and enrichment activities. Administering medication. Assisting with bathing/showering. Transferring. Completing household chores. Managing behaviors. Providing safety and supervision. Documenting completed tasks. Charting wellness information. Completing Visit Notes. Helping others maintain their physical and emotional health. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Be able to successfully pass a Caregiver Background Check Valid Regular Driver's License (not required, but may limit your ability to work with a significant portion of our clients) Reliable and Insured personal transportation (not required, but may limit your ability to work with a significant portion of our clients) Skills Required: Clear verbal and written communication Conflict resolution Email Building rapport Characteristics Required: Punctual Hard working Quick learner Positive mental attitude Kindness Empathy
