POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Camp Lakeside Kitchen staff create a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while completing the daily operations of the camp while camp is in session. The Kitchen Staff for Camp Lakeside perform duties according to all state, federal, and YMCA policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Meal preparation for campers (60-150 campers) Helps facilitate meals: Dinning Hall prep, serving meals, and meal clean up. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen facilities. Safety/Risk Management (SERV Safe required within 60 days of hire) Will be required to work some stay over weekends as assigned Works well with the team and friendly on the serving line Assist in inventory, ordering, and Sysco food deliveries.
