Come join our team! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PAINT SALES REP As a Paint Sales Rep, you have the important job of creating accurate estimation proposals for clients. Each day you access our CRM (customer relationship management) system to follow up with leads, then head out for appointments with residential and commercial property owners. You're both friendly and professional as you ask questions to identify which products and services will best meet their needs. Clients appreciate your great customer service skills and industry expertise as you discuss options for cabinet refinishing, wallpaper removal, painting, and drywall repair. As someone who is persuasive without being pushy, you do an excellent job of communicating the value of our superior services. Thanks to your strong mathematical aptitude, measuring, calculating, and estimating come easily to you! You know that providing excellent customer service means taking care of the client beyond the initial appointment. With great attention to detail, you create thorough written estimation proposals, working to solve practical problems and find solutions that are cost-effective while meeting the customer's needs. A collaborative team player, you coordinate with other departments, ensuring that crew leaders, field personnel, and office staff have the information they need to complete jobs in a timely manner. You are glad your estimating skills help clients receive the services they need, and you're pleased to be well-compensated for your estimation efforts ! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PAINT SALES REP Industry knowledge Computer literacy Strong math and communication skills Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel throughout the greater St. Louis area A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Sales experience would be a plus! Familiarity with CRM software would be an asset. Do you present yourself professionally, both in appearance and demeanor?
