Description:
This job implements all of the normal duties required of a custodian in a school setting. The responsibilities of a custodian are to provide custodial services at assigned site(s); ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of special cleaning operations; and assisting in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events. The custodian will work in coordination with other custodians, the principal, and the custodial director.A high school diploma is required as well as proficiency in sanitation and custodial duties. Prior custodial experience is preferred but not required.
