Mission of the Position: This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, responsible for the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines, ensures all standard operating procedures for the assigned area(s) are followed. A Team Leader is responsible for the directing of all associates in their assigned area of responsibility. Current standards and tools for: Safety, Quality and Engineering in Schnellecke Logistics, AL. Common Functions: Implementing and forcing the organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, organizational standards, over all areas of their responsibility, to achieve the vision of the company. Applying the procedures in the areas under the responsibility, to ensure compliance with them. Improving business process, to make robust and efficient process. Adherence to safety principles at all times. Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned. Essential Job Functions Confer with Management, Production, or other departments to discuss shift notes, process specifications, or procedures. Supporting the development and implementation of standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department focused on Continuous Improvement Techniques (STEP Program). Provide information to Group Leader to update and share weekly Manpower documents in the organization. Participates in meetings when necessary to make detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of Lean Management. 5S Work Area Main Internal Contacts Operations Manager Group Leaders Team Members Main External Contacts MBUSI Faculties Monitor and ensure compliance of the activities related to their area of responsibility according to the corresponding procedures and standard work instructions sheets. Frequently walk/move around warehouse floor Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds on a seldom basis Machinery, Equipment, and Toolings Under the Responsibility PCs, scanners, etc. Mobile equipment assigned to the areas (forklift, truck, tugger, etc.) PPE required to carry out the activities for the area. Education: High school diploma or equivalent Competence 50% Competent Knowledge and Performance - Proven ability to apply knowledge and skills required for the job, without constant supervision. 75% Advanced Knowledge and Performance - Has the knowledge and skills to make improvements in the process. Has work experience, and can train others. 100% Expert Knowledge and Performance - Has the knowledge, skills, and expertise to develop strategies on the topic.
