CAPS Collaborative is seeking applicants for the position of Speech Language Pathologist. The CCC-SLP provides consultation and/or direct therapy services, completes initial and tri-annual evaluations, develops and oversees implementation of IEP goals and objectives and utilizes effective curriculum materials and behavior management strategies for a manageable caseload. We will work in partnership with districts to ensure that students transition to the least restrictive environment in their home school district. About the role: Provide quality speech/language therapy services, including assessment, intervention, program planning and implementation, discharge planning, and communication. Service provision includes both direct and consultative approaches. Responsibilities: Evaluation and screenings using both informal and standardized testing in Speech/Language. Generate IEP goals to reflect needs determined through evaluation. Attend scheduled meetings. Provide direct services as indicated on IEP Provide indirect consultative services with teachers and parents as indicated on IEP. Provide in-service workshops and professional development as requested. Supervise SLPA's and/or Graduate students. Travel between schools and programs as deemed necessary. Monthly Medicaid submittal on eligible students. Maintain professional boundaries and ensure student/staff confidentiality as appropriate within the educational team Contribute to professional growth and collaboration by staying informed on current literature/resources in the field and actively participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Candidate requirements: Master's Degree with certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA Educator licensure in Speech/Language Massachusetts Physical Requirements: Able to navigate all areas of the school quickly including indoor and outdoor areas. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
