The part time, afternoon bakery position is a key role to the ongoing success of our stores. They provide customers with fresh, quality products ensuring the return of customers time and time again. Summary of the position: Prepares items for early morning baking; Packages, prices, and stocks products within the department; Maintains a thorough knowledge of products, ingredients, and services provided in the department; Assists customers with department questions and needs; Takes special orders and cake orders for day crew; Ensures State and County safety and sanitation standards are met with all equipment, surfaces, and floors with the department; Cleans the departments and coffee station before closing the department What we look for in you: Must be at least 15 years old 3-6:30 pm shifts during the weekdays and at least one weekend day availability 1 year of friendly and welcoming customer service Grocery and/or retail experience preferred Exceptional communication skills Highly motivated individual Team player with the ability to work independently at times Ability to multitask Focused and efficient The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time What we can offer you for all your hard work: Flexible scheduling Medical and Dental Coverage (FT) 401(K) Paid Time Off (FT) Sick Time (PT) ______________________________________________________________________ Honeoye Falls Marketplace and Mendon Meadows is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
