The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Licensed and currently registered by New York State as an RN. Previous supervisory experience is required. Experience in the field of OPWDD preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, clinical plans, individual service plans, and regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and other required communication. Ability to effectively communicate and present information, as well as, respond to questions from groups of people, their families, employees, and other service providers. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of options in situations where only limited instructions exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to meet OPWDD Level II S.C.I.P.-R. (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention-Revised) requirements. The employee may frequently lift, transfer, and/or move up to 35 pounds.
