Diamondback Mechanical Group in San Antonio, TX is looking to hire a full-time Journeyman Electrician to work closely with project management to accomplish quality installations while adhering to all current electrical codes and safety standards. The typical schedule for this position is 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday with optional Saturday overtime if available. QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Journeyman Or Master Electrical License Experience in Commercial and Industrial Electrical Work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference materials. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems Ability to use hand and power tools Install wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, following current NEC and local code Install control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels for machine Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments and equipment Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threader, and conduit bender. Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor Communicate with employees, management, vendors in a professional manner. Have a valid Journeyman or Master License issued by TDLR The Supervisor or his/her designee may assign other duties and accountabilities limited to those consistent with the applicable job function and pay grade. Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must pass background check and drug test Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work from all types of ladders and perform work at various heights from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, or other areas.
