Assistant store managers work with the rest of the leadership team to consistently deliver great customer experiences and maintaining a positive work environment for the Crumbl team. Future Leadership Opportunities We develop leadership talent internally and promote from within for future roles as Crumbl expands New locations are coming quickly to our area and will need additional management talent Successful assistant managers will be considered for store manager roles Essential Role Functions Leadership & Management | People Development | Operations | Customer Service | Communication | Technology Aptitude | Attention to Detail | Cleanliness & Tidiness | Facilities & Equipment | Safety LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT: Help lead the team to accomplish objectives and oversee a variety of systems and processes to excel in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) while building and developing the Crumbl Culture. Fulfill many management functions when the store manager is not present. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT: Assist in developing Crumbl team member's skills and capabilities for their current and future roles at Crumbl OPERATIONS: Supervise a variety of Crumbl operational areas including: quality control and taste, cookie baking process, cookie presentation, delivery experience, and more CUSTOMER SERVICE: We don't just want happy customers - we want to create raving fans through genuine, welcoming, and friendly interactions with every customer that comes into Crumbl COMMUNICATION: Communicate clearly and frequently with store leadership team and the Crumbl Crew through written and verbal means TECHNOLOGY APTITUDE: Skillfully use internal and external technology tools (point-of-sale, Crumbl recipe/order/fulfillment applications, email, chat applications). Be able to problem solve technology issues through key technology support contacts when needed. ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Highly aware of the details of baking and customer service process and ensures those details are managed, communicated, and taught to the team to deliver excellence on a daily basis CLEANLINESS & TIDINESS: Always maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bakery environment, exceeding regulatory and company requirements at all times FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT: Monitor safe use of and movement around equipment SAFETY: Constantly train and coach on safety first Role Qualifications CHARACTER: Naturally has strong personal values and displays these through action and word WORK ETHIC: Committed to giving exceptional effort consistently in all responsibilities CULTURAL FIT: Has a strong internal "why" that aligns with owners and Crumbl, has similar values and character, and has a passion for food and baking EXPERIENCE: Preferably has at least one year of business, leadership, management, and food or restaurant experience EDUCATION: Prefer an associate degree or higher. PA State Certified Food Safety Manager Certificate required; certificate can be completed after hiring if successful candidate does not already have one. COMMITMENT TO THE CUSTOMER & EXCELLENCE: Has a genuine desire to serve others while having an unquenchable thirst for excellence in everything you do Following hiring, all necessary training will be provided. Candidates without their Certified Food Safety Manager Certificate or all necessary bakery skills may be asked to complete a probationary period working as a shift lead until those qualifications are obtained. Owners and store manager will support assistant manager in learning the processes needed to be successful. Compensation will be $16 to $18 per hour plus tips. Tips are expected to be $3-4+ per hour at this store for total Assistant Manager compensation of $19 to $22+ per hour. Strong candidates may receive guaranteed tip payouts.
