Dough Maker SUMMARY To prepare quality products in a timely manner for the production line ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Working knowledge of operation of different types of process equipment with varying degrees of automation Comprehend and follow processes control instructions and/or formula recipes and procedures (including completing paperwork) Responsible for quality of products, ensuring that the correct amounts of dough are produced for production Working knowledge of all sanitary practices as they pertain to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment washouts Coordinate with Production personnel to successfully transfer product to the production lines Preparation of raw materials for processing Ensure dough and shortening temperature meets standard requirements Assist in cleaning, maintaining and inventory of filling material storage areas Ability to use a manual pallet jack and stacker lift for retrieval of dough making materials Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Language Skills Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Certificates, Licenses, Registrations This job does not require any specific certificates, licenses, or registrations. The employee must occasionally lift 50 pounds and push/move 100+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high places; extreme cold; extreme heat; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, therefore hearing protection is not required. QUALITY The employee understands the importance of food safety- Legality, Safety, Quality and Authenticity of the product.
