ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for handling account relationships Daily coordination of material shipments Processing of quotation requests Track sales and inventory data related to accounts Report sales and inventory data related to accounts Provide follow-up support for all customers, company requests and objectives Identify and forward to Supply Chain processed parts to be purchased complete Coordinate with New Part Coordinator to update MPS/DRP set-ups Coordinate with Production Scheduler to insure material is scheduled, as needed Chart monthly inventory dollar's and send to Lead Review monthly Top 20 part numbers to resolve inventory issues Coordinate with Discrepant Material Coordinator to communicate inventory needs for rejected material and replacements Review item set-up reports/new parts/safety stock set-up for customer usage vs. demand and accurate destination. Change and update, as needed, to insure accurate inventory levels Process all Planner reports: DRP & MPS Planning Reports, Unreleased Work Orders, Open Work Orders, Frozen, etc. Responsible to release requisitions both manually or system generated Responsible to follow up with Supplier, as needed Process first-time buy review and requisition release Responsible for direct ship authorization Work with Expediting to insure on-time delivery from suppliers Initiate Hot Sheets for Quality and Warehouse, as needed Review parts for purchase complete and minimum buys with Supply Chain SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES: Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint Ability to operate standard office equipment Possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal Possess Fastener product knowledge Focus on attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines Demonstrated capacity to proactively handle multiple detailed tasks with frequent interruptions Strong level of personal organization and commitment Strong level of problem-solving skills Interacts well with employees at all levels within the organization; able to build and maintain positive working relationships Willingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirements ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work in a busy office setting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit and work at a computer for up to 8 hours per day Must be able to occasionally travel, including overnight trips JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have high school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Associates Degree or higher or 5+ years of related experience Job Posted by ApplicantPro
