Summary: Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform 5 senses inspections on machines or equipment to detect malfunctions, diagnose problem and repair machine. Dismantle defective machinery and equipment, install new or repaired parts as required. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repair and maintain physical structures. Perform rigging and lifting of heavy loads. Fabricate from prints or sketches in accurate and timely manner. Operate cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Inspect parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring devices. Participate in good housekeeping practices within the plant.
