YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire Summer Camp Supervisors and Directors! Camps include Adventure, Sports, Ability and Specialty (Arts, Dance, Archery, STEM, Music, and more!). Summer Camp Counselor Salary : $15 - $22 per hour Summer Camp Counselor Hours : Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Full or Part Time available Summer Camp Counselor Responsibilities : Monitor camp operations Support training and development of camp staff Manage and supervise camp staff within a given unit Safely supervise children through daily activities Positively engage and interact with campers through focus areas Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship and bring enthusiasm to every camp day Support the lesson plans/camp objectives and ensure a safe environment for campers Acknowledge different learning styles and meet the needs of each camper. Develop strong relationships with children, parents and families through communication and actions Summer Camp Counselor Qualifications : 18 years of age or older Excellent communication skills Willingness and desire to work with children 1+ years of leadership experience 1+ years of camp or child care experience Summer Camp Counselor Benefits: YMCA Membership One Week Paid Vacation For the Summer (Full-time only) Employee Assistance Program Employee Wellness Program Exceptional growth potential for your role and career Salary: $14.50 - $20 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
