Midlevel Geologist

Description:
Plexus Scientific Corporation seeks a Midlevel Geologist with 12 years of applied Site Investigation and remediation experience. This position will primarily support environmental investigation and remediation projects with an emphasis on CERCLA and RCRA processes. What you'll do: The work will encompass both field and office work. Field activities may include supervising and conducting environmental field investigations, long term monitoring, documenting field conditions, supporting remediation activities through sampling activities, working with Sr. level geologist on the development of conceptual site models, oversight of remediation activities such as soil excavations, amendment injections, and operation of remediation systems. Office activities may include preparing for and coordinating field events, management of field and laboratory data, development of graphics depicts site investigation activities, developing pricing for future work, developing period and unique reports, studies, and plans. Travel for site visits and meetings will be required What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in geology or related field. 12 years of experience related to the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites under federal, state, or other cleanup programs. Must have adequate experience in field work, workplan development, task management, data analysis, and report preparation. Successful candidate will demonstrate a history of increasing responsibility, initiative, motivation, and creative problem solving. Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail. Ability to work successfully independently, as a member of a team, and as a leader Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. PG registration preferred. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required. Effective technical writing and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Access, ArcGIS a plus. Professional skills and experience we're looking for: Solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to organize and manage a variety of work and meet internal and external deadlines. In accordance with the Colorado, New York City, Connecticut Equal Pay Transparency Rules: Plexus offers benefits for full time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, STD and LTD, and Life Insurance as well as additional optional benefits. Full time positions also come with Unlimited PTO days and at certain levels, a bonus program may apply. The Salary range for this role is $65,000 - $95,000 for Colorado based positions only. The Salary Range for this role is $65,000 - $105,000 for New York City based positions only. The Salary Range for this role is $65,000 - $95,000 for Connecticut based positions only Other locations will vary in salary range. Actual salary is dependent on background and experience.
