Job Description Product Program Specialist (NWA) SUPERVISOR: Product Program Director DEPARTMENT: Product Program FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt LAST UPDATED: 11/09/2022 POSITION SUMMARY The Product Program Specialist is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, organization, and implementation of Girl Scouts - Diamonds strategies and campaigns that support Girl Scouts, caregivers, volunteers, and staff. The Product Program Specialist's main areas of responsibility includes systems setup/maintenance, updating and composing of product program guides and resources for both the Girl Scout Cookie Program and the Girl Scout Fall Product Program, and overseeing their regional cupboard for the Girl Scout Cookie Program. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES Coordinate product programs in regional areas according to GSDAOT strategy and GSUSA guidelines Aid with the facilitation of in-person and online volunteer, staff, and caregiver training Provide customer-centric support for the product program department, including assisting with the product program email inbox during high-volume sales periods and when lead staff is unavailable Update and compile product program guides, website content, and print materials in a coordinated effort with MarComm Coordinate the creation of accurate and informative curriculum materials for the Fall Product and Cookie Program Act as the lead for system setup and maintenance, including imports, into product program software platforms (M2OS, eBudde, Digital Cookie) Act as the subject matter expert on product program software platforms for volunteers, caregivers, and staff (M2OS, Digital Cookie, eBudde) Work in coordination with the Product Program team to keep accurate information in Product Program sales platforms regarding sales, registered Girl Scouts, delivery, debt, inventory, etc. Ensure the accuracy of all Product Program transactions and the safeguarding of assets (materials, inventory, and incentives) Act as lead in facilitating the northwest Arkansas regional cupboard during the Girl Scout Cookie Program, including oversight of staff, daily reconciliations to eBudde, and meeting volunteer needs. Ultimately, the Product Program Specialist is responsible for cupboard coverage. Aid with the coordination of Girl Scouts Gives Back week, which concludes the Cookie Program. Act as liaison to volunteers with solicitation and support of robust cookie booth opportunities Aids with maintaining contact information, position paperwork, and rosters for Service Unit Product Managers View, decipher, and compile reports as requested to monitor trends in product programs. Support the department's financial, inventory management, and customer service goals Acts as the primary backup for Northwest retail shop Assist with any other assigned responsibilities as needed In keeping with our commitment to the Girl Scouts Law and Promise, our council places particular emphasis on teamwork, investment in the success of the organization, and commitment to each other. KNOWLEDGE AND CREDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Required Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn software sales systems (M2OS, Digital Cookie, eBudde) Valid driver's license and safe driving record Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ability to drive transit van or box truck Experience with accurately presenting information to large groups Knowledge of Girl Scout Leadership Experience ABILITY AND SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS Able to plan, organize, and facilitate programming Strong data entry skills and the ability to decipher and compile reports Experience with and able to encourage, coach, and mentor volunteers and fellow staff Adept at conflict resolution Active listening skills Ability to be a team player and provide backup support in the office Highly organized, self-managing, independent thinker possessing strong attention to detail Subscribes to the principles of the Girl Scout Movement Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines. Strong human relations skills and can work well with people of diverse backgrounds. Ability to exercise good judgment Excellent written and oral communication skills Solution-driven with the ability to effectively problem solve Physical ability to frequently stop, kneel, bend, crouch, reach overhead, grasp, push, pull, lift, and move objects up to 25 pounds at shoulder height, and often during the Product Program season, lift more than 25 pounds.
