This is a part-time, temporary, seasonal position. This seasonal position oversees the onsite operations at the Community Center, Brandenburg, and/or Pollard Park in close coordination with the full-time staff of the Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Department. Duties include exercising considerable judgement to resolve conflict and provide services in a safe, friendly manner. This position oversees basic direction to entrance booth attendants, contractual food operators, umpire services, facility renters, the overall park operations, and welcoming the public to Township parks and facilities. This position reports directly to the Director and/or Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation. *Please see attached for a complete description. Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years of age - Possession of a High School Diploma or a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test. - Strong communication, organization and leadership skills - Ability and availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays up to 40 hours per week during the park season (Memorial Day - Labor Day) - Valid Michigan Driver's License, insurance, and dependable transportation. - Access to mobile communications is required.
