JOB LOCATION: Canyon Fuel Company - Skyline Mine OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for providing electrical engineering support by providing technical assistance regarding all aspects of the mining operation. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Mine site engineering projects as assigned Economic evaluations of projects Develops, implements and monitors safety action plans, pre-work examination, safety evaluation processes, and internal safety monitoring processes Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate all electrical activities both surface and underground Prepare specifications for all electrical equipment, high voltage transformers, cables and other such equipment. Develop, maintain and refine electrical programs and plan for improvements in equipment and processes. Develop planned maintenance programs for various electrical equipment systems. As necessary, develop Petitions for Modification, and MSHA approvals for field modifications. Equipment modifications Interface with mine site, corporate and government regulatory personnel PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: BS in Electrical Engineering Underground coal mining experience/interest is a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills Work with minimal supervision Proficient with Microsoft Office Handle several projects concurrently Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and other computer programs AutoCAD, MVS ventilation modeling or ICAMPS modeling experience is a plus POSITION WILL REPORT TO: Maintenance Manager Please apply online at https://wolverinefuels.applicantpro.com/jobs/ Job Posted by ApplicantPro
