A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR ESTIMATOR In this estimation position of manufacturing and industrial construction projects , you are critical to our company's success as you strategically develop design-build opportunities and establish close working relationships with clients and partners to shape the overall project from concept to award. You will constantly be challenged to seek out innovative ways to balance client budgets with accurate proposals and schedules that are commercially viable. As you perform a variety of estimating and relationship management tasks, your overall goal is to find and create strategies that produce results winning results. Your focus will be on defining quality work scopes, estimates, plans, constructability, and overall project schedule. You will use your proven communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and foster lasting relationships with clients and partners. You are great at listening and understanding our clients' goals and seek to satisfy them with innovative solutions. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR ESTIMATOR Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in estimating manufacturing and industrial construction projects Experience in variety of construction disciplines (civil, structural, MEP etc.) Solid understanding of construction industry, jobsite safety requirements, contract management, planning, scheduling, budgets, building products and relevant technology Experience using 2D/3D, MS Office, MS Project & Sage Estimating software applications Strong organizational and communication skills Do you have exceptional communication skills? Are you a team player? Do you operate in an organized manner? Are you good at problem-solving and decision-making? Can you set estimating goals while embracing new ideas? Are you good at multi-tasking and adapting to a changing environment?
