Mid-Level Structural Engineer Are you looking to be a part of a growing, dedicated, and diverse team? Do you enjoy the chance to make a positive impact on the world around you? We are looking for a Structural Engineer that has a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering. Do you have 3 to 5 years' experience as a Structural Engineer? You must either be a registered Profession Engineer (PE) or FE/EIT with the ability to obtain a PE. Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is also a must. You will need to be able to work well within a team and have strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines. You must be willing to see a project through to completion and have excellent attention to detail, written and communication skills. Why join our team? A day in the life of a Structural Engineer Day to day, you may spend the days designing or producing deliverable drawings, either smaller elements and details on a building or the grander global ability of the structure. Effective communication skills are key to explaining what needs to be built and how it is to be designed. You will be working with a team of engineers, possibly junior engineers that need guidance or help senior engineers with their tasks, so being able to work with a team is vital. Automating parts of the design process may be necessary and as well as helping update design spreadsheets to make them more intuitive. Being a self-starter is a necessity. You may also: Create Revit drawings of wall plan views and typical cross sections. Review construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates. Assist with the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
