In addition to completion of the RTE (Ready-to-Eat) Level 1 production matrix, Production Level 2 includes forklift operator, packaging, palletizing, and basic machine operations. PACKER: · Operate 25 and/or 50 pound box machine with attention to detail regarding the box quality, print quality, overall completed product.· Correctly fill poly totes and fiber bins to the correct weight.· Ability to follow instructions precisely and pack product into packaging per customer specifications.· Ability to safely palletize finished goods onto pallets.· Wrap and strap completed pallets for shipment. FORKLIFT: · Operates forklifts in a RTE production environment in a safe and effective manner by moving raw and finished product to designated locations.· Maintain inventory control using RF scanners.· Attention to detail on each customer order picklist.· Maintain and adhere to SQF certification, HACCP processes. MACHINE OPERATOR: · Experience working in a production facility· Able to work at a fast paced while maintaining quality requirements· Ability to learn and operate various packaging equipment while maintaining minimal downtime· Able to learn how to troubleshoot packaging equipment when not meeting quality requirements.· Any duties included in Level 1 job description· Able to learn and complete sanitation processes· Performs other duties assigned by Management.· Responsible for upholding all Food Safety, Quality, & People Safety policies and regulations.
