Description:
To order, receive, track, and maintain documentation of any/all parts. This will require strong organization, good communication with direct supervisor and peers, the ability to multi-task and follow-through of all tasks assigned. Effectively communicating with peers and supervisors Oversee and manage stock parts inventory Accurately order, receive and distribute all parts in a timely manner Assist with technical data and research Inspection of parts for accuracy and quality, resolve issues relates to damaged and incorrect parts. Manage invoices / credits / receivables related to parts. Process paperwork and turn in daily Daily follow up on missing parts and delivery deadlines to complete all orders. Prepare purchase requisitions by verifying specifications and price Obtain recommendations from suppliers for substitute items Maintain a neat and organized work area Daily shop and lot maintenance. Monthly shop and equipment maintenance and assist with monthly lot inventory. Process high volume of parts promptly and accurately while maintaining a low cost. Order parts through proper channels and vendors. Log all parts orders as orders are placed. Properly store received parts in appropriate bins Maintain parts room and office in an organized manner. Ensure that stock parts are charged accordingly when used. Ability to ask questions. Assist supervisor with any necessary tasks. Work Cohesively with technicians Keep information accessible by sorting, organizing, and filing in a timely efficient manner.
