About the Project Trilogy Innovations is seeking (2) Senior Software Developers (mainframe applications) to remotely support our federal customer in Bridgeport, WV. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our customer's large-scale IT systems. Security Clearance requirement ( US CITIZENS): Secret Clearance Location: Telework (Remote 100%) Full-time (W2) Benefits: Health, vision/dental, life/disability, 401(k) + match Perks: 100% coverage of professional development, phone/internet reimbursements & bonus programs Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or related field) Active Secret security clearance Minimum of 8 years experience in software development on Linux-based operating systems Experience with Java/XML and/or COBOL programming on mainframe environments Programming Languages: Sr Software Developer: Java and XML Sr Software Developer: COBOL Mainframe Environments: (IBM z14 mainframes) DB2, zOS, CICS General Responsibilities: Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements. Designs embedded systems software.
