Mental Health Unit Clinical Supervisor Location: Punta Gorda, FL Position Summary Co-responder program with Charlotte County Sheriffs' Office (CCSO) Provides management and supervision of an integrated team consisting of mental health clinician, case manager, law enforcement officer, and paramedic. Oversees the day to day operations of the co-responder program. Provides the services of the mental health clinician on the team as needed. P rovides mental health and substance use training to law enforcement and Fire/EMS staff as needed or requested. Minimum Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in behavioral health sciences, such as mental health counseling, social work, art therapy, psychology, or marriage and family therapy . Independent License in the state of Florida (LMHC or LCSW) preferred. Experience working with individuals in crisis preferred. Experience in management of personnel, program planning and development, budgeting/fiscal management and community liaison work preferred. Knowledge of the Florida Baker Act and Marchman Act laws preferred. Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Computer proficiency, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to pass Level II Background clearance, drug test (CBHC is a drug free workplace). Valid FL driver's license, insurance, and safe driving record.
