What we're looking for: An Academic Coach at our Pleasant Hill Campus. Do you have a passion for education , seeing students thrive, and developing staff ? The Sr. Academic Coach is responsible for providing exceptional academic coaching and is accountable for attaining performance goals associated with new, continuing and resuming students while upholding academic integrity. In addition, this position is responsible for executing all elements of a proactive student outreach strategy, including face to face meetings, phone conversations, and e-mails. The Academic Coach will assist students in online and on-ground courses and may be responsible for specific content areas. What We Offer: T he targeted starting pay range for this position is between $25-$30 per hour . Our benefits program for full-time colleagues includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as flexible spending and health savings accounts. You will accrue two to three weeks of paid vacation in your first five years with eleven paid holidays. We offer state-compliant sick leave, disability insurance, and company-paid life insurance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Science, Math, English, or a medical-related discipline. Master's degree preferred. Required degree(s) must be from institutions accredited by recognized U.S. accrediting agencies. Degrees from non-U.S. institutions are recognized only if equivalence has been established and provided. One to three years of education related work experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in teaching/tutoring required. Knowledge of APA format and online research protocols. Strong learning management knowledge preferably Canvas.
