deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an experienced Data Analyst in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to develop and use analysis tools and other technical methods to analyze sensor system performance and capabilities of element and system level algorithms on collected and simulated data. Must be able to use sensor and system level data to characterize performance of new algorithms, as well as assist in identifying performance anomalies, gather and review information to support root cause analysis. Education Requirements: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Math or a related technical field, is required. Experience Requirements: The successful candidate will have 5+ years of applicable data analysis experience Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming Previous experience with RF, EOIR, or system level tracking data is required Special Skills Desired: Familiarity with one or more ground based, airborne, or naval sensors Prior experience with radar operation or radar data formats Prior experience with analyzing sensor field data Experience with Linux OS and basic Linux shell scripting Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance .
