Transco Transmissions and Auto Repair is currently hiring for a full-time General Auto Mechanic to service, diagnose, and repair our customers' vehicles in the Santa Rosa, CA area. This General Auto Mechanic position earns a competitive wage of up to $40.00 per hour with additional bonuses based on jobs completed and weekly profit . In this role, you use your expertise to service our customers' vehicles. When a customer brings in their car, you roadtest and use other diagnostic tools to determine the cause of the issue they're having. Then, you perform the necessary repairs, often removing and replacing transmissions. You also execute general automotive services and repairs, including servicing brakes, performing tune-ups, and changing fluids. Our customers trust you to deliver excellent, efficient results every time, and you help us establish relationships that keep customers coming back. You're a team player who maintains a clean and safe shop and is always willing to help out your fellow mechanics.
