Description:

This position functions within a school setting providing Psychotherapy services to studentsreferred for services. Behavioral Health Therapist are part of the care team and work closely with schoolpersonnel, medical providers, nurse case managers, nursing staff, support staff and communitypartners. This position will be servicing the Warsaw, Cole Camp and Green Ridge schools.Behavioral Health Therapists provide behavioral and cognitive strategies to remove barriers toimprove wellness, complete suicide risk assessments, psychosocial assessments/evaluations,diagnosis, and provide counseling/therapy services, through individual therapies. The BehavioralHealth Therapist will refer students, to additional community services as appropriate. TheBehavioral Health Therapist will provide consultation and psycho-education, as requested by theschool or other community partners as appropriate.**$2,500 Sign on bonus!**This is a full time exempt position working 46 weeks/year.** KTCH requires all employees to be fully vaccinated prior to employment.Minimum Qualifications:• Hold current Missouri License: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)or Licensed ClinicalSocial Worker (LCSW)• Must meet CMS COVID mandate requirements .• Current CPR certification• Demonstrate professional commitment to providing services to medically under-servedpersons.• Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence=based treatments formedical and mental health conditions• Ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinicalassessments of mental and behavioral conditions.• Should be comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an interdisciplinary team,and have strong communication skills.• Ability to design and implement clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of selectedchronic conditions.• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.• Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system
