We are looking for a Project Accountant who has a bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field with 1 - 2 years of experience or 3 - 5 years of experience. Someone proficient working with Ajera would be beneficial as well as proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook. Our ideal candidate will understand project revenue, profitability and its impact on project performance. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A day in the life of a Project Accountant Day to day you will work closely with the Director of Finance and assisting Project Managers. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of a project as it progresses. You may be tasked with analyzing and approving outgoing expenses, issuing invoices and billing reports, and collecting payments from clients. You will be interpreting client contracts and properly setting up projects with correct compensation, budgets, and billing. Working with Project Managers during all stages of a project will also be one aspect of your day. You will assist the Director of Finance and Project Managers in other tasks as needed.
