The 2nd shift is from 3pm to 11:30pm. Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties) Fabricates parts using various machines and equipment including CNC machines, mills, multi-spindle mills, and cut off saws Capable of reading and using measuring devices such as tape measure, micrometer, calipers, fixed gauges, and gauge blocks Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings and blueprints Operates forklift to move raw material as well as finished product Enters appropriate data in computer system (part quantities, job numbers...) Responsible for documenting time to appropriate manufacturing orders Ensure materials meet the current quality and safety requirements Responsible for following process specifications, production requirements, and safety standards Performs company activities in addition to the above as assigned by Production Supervisor and/or Team Leader Qualifications Training will be 4-6 weeks long during first shift (7am to 3:30pm) HS Diploma/GED 3+ year experience in machining or relevant trade training preferred Forklift operation skills preferred Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Gibraltar is an Equal Opportunity Employer; and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
