We Need: InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a young adult male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Huntersville area, 28078. Staff will provide Respite Services for 8 hours a week. Schedule for 8 hours is between any of the hours listed Schedule: Mon (2:30pm to 5:30pm) Wed (3:30pm to 6:00pm) Thur (12:30pm to 3:30pm ) Fri (11:00am to 1:30pm) Pay Rate: $13.50/hr. What You'll Do : Instruction and assistance in home living environments. Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles. Facilitat e community integration. Help individual develop healthy social habits. Dispens e medication and monitoring dosages. Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities. All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred. *** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
