Surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds inspired by Monet's own gardens in Giverny, this location is an ideal environment with opportunities to work with a solid team of hospitality specialist. Mirbeau Inn & Spa is seeking a Host Person to join our front of house team. All Hosts will be reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager. The essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Ensure tables, silverware, and glasses are clean and properly set up Answer all dining room telephone calls and take reservations Receive memos from the Sale Department about reservations and make sensible seating orders Greet guests, escort them to their tables, present menus, describe specials, and make course recommendations Ensure guests receive prompt courteous service and respond to complaints and comments or refers the responses to the Restaurant Supervisor or Director of Food and Beverage Supervise service and assist servers when needed Ensure all servers are on time and that they are performing their work properly Complete the guest satisfaction cycle by thanking the guest and inviting and inviting them to return with a fond farewell Ensure no section of the dining room is overlooked Check with the guest if everything is satisfactory Refill water, coffee, tea, soda or other beverages Perform any assignments as directed by the Restaurant Supervisor or Director of Food and Beverage The health and well-being of our team members is a high priority at Mirbeau.
