The International School of Portland is hiring for Summer Camp! We are looking for multiple experienced, enthusiastic, and creative Specialist Teachers to join our team for Summer 2023. Specifically we are looking for Music & Dance/ Yoga Specialists, and or Sports & Games Specialists. Do you have a specialty you'd like to share with students? We'd love to hear from you! ISP Summer Camp immerses campers ages 3-5th grade in Spanish, Chinese, or Japanese language and culture. In addition, we offer specialist classes to add variety, fun and enrichment to our summer camp program. Specialists classes are taught in English . Learn more about our camp at https://intlschool.org/summer/ . DATES : Summer Camp Specialist Teachers may work in one, two, or all three sessions. Session 1 - June 26 - July 7 (no camp on July 4th) Session 2 - July 10 - 21 Session 3 - July 24 - August 4 (All teachers must participate in trainings in May and/or June. When feasible, all trainings will be held virtually) HOURS: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday PAY RATE: per 2-week session, depending on experience (>5 yrs at camp) $1,980 Returning Specialist Teacher $1,880 New Specialist Teacher $1,680 CAMP DISCOUNT : Camp staff will receive a discount off of Summer Camp enrollment fees for eligible children General Summary Part-time seasonal positions reporting to the Summer Camp Director, Specialist Teachers provide fun, active additions to this dynamic summer camp. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to planning and implementing curriculum and submitting lesson plans; teaching specialist classes; supervising children and ensuring their safety; and communicating with Camp Director and other camp staff.
