Providing our guests with outstanding food is at the heart of what we do, and we need someone dedicated to excellence to help our guests start their days on the right foot.ABOUT THE JOB:· Prepare buffet breakfast items daily; customize items to adhere to dietary restrictions· Adhere to proper sanitation, food handling/storage/preparation, and hand washing guidelines· Manage time efficiently throughout business fluctuations to ensure consistent, high-standard product.· Receive, distribute and organize incoming deliveries in a time-sensitive manner.· Plate and present food as instructed by Executive Chef.· Additional tasks as assigned by Executive Chef, to include help with staff meals and banquet functions when necessary.ABOUT YOU:· Previous kitchen experience, especially in high-volume hotel setting· Ability to clean station at the beginning, during, and closing of scheduled shift· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions for food prep and recipe purposes· Success with handling multiple tasks with attention to detail· Confident asking for help when necessary· Aptitude for learning new skills· Communicates politely with coworkers and treats other with respectBENEFITS:· Staff meals· Discounts on rooms, meals, and gift shop goodies· Flexible scheduling· Health/dental/vision insurance + 401(k) for full-time employees· Opportunities to further education and professional development· Fun, collaborative work environment This job description reflects the general duties of the position but is not a detailed description of all duties which may be inherent to the position.
