EPHC is an inclusive community that welcomes participants and staff of all beliefs. El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) is seeking a Full-Time Director of Economic Sustainability! EPHC's Economic Sustainability programs provide economic sustainability and prosperity through supportive housing, energy assistance, and family stability services. The Director of Economic Sustainability will provide strategic leadership to meet the goals and objectives of the department and is responsible for service delivery, program implementation, administrative coordination, and advocacy. The position will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Executive team. About EPHC: El Programa Hispano's humble roots began in 1982 when a small group of outreach workers from Catholic Family Services, now Catholic Charities of Oregon, (CCO) conducted outreach to Latino migrant farmworkers in East County. In 2015 with the support of CCO, EPHC became an independent 501c3 organization. Today, EPHC serves more than 20,000 individuals annually in the areas of Economic Sustainability, Education, Community Wellness and Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault prevention, intervention, and advocacy. Opportunities to serve your community and make a positive impact. Qualifications & Requirements: Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English, preferred. Strong anti-oppression, diversity, inclusion, and equity knowledge. Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. Master's degree preferred or equivalent educ/experience. Minimum 2 years supervision experience. E xperience in providing direct client/programming services. Demonstrated experience in programs/operations management. Demonstrated experience in managing contracts and budgets. Strategic planning, program development and implementation. Ability to demonstrate strong supervisory and coaching skills. Demonstrated experience in facilitating training and community presentations. Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters. Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Collaborative and self-motivated. Other Requirements: Proficient in all Microsoft Office products. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which could include some evenings and weekends. Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds. Accommodations may be available upon request. Must have driver's license, access to vehicle and automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100). Satisfactory results from criminal background check required. Essential Duties: Program Development (40%) Work with the Executive Team to set overall goals and growth priorities for Economic Sustainability. Assure that all programs and services are delivered through an anti-oppression and trauma informed lens. Work with media, in coordination with the Communications Team, as appropriate. Participates in the annual budget development process for Economic Sustainability services. Leadership & Staff Development (20%) Provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Conduct regular 1:1 check-in with direct reports. Conduct annual performance reviews and ensure appropriate staff professional development. Continually assess and implement improvements in organizational policies and practices including staff training, performance evaluations, and any other program policies and practices. Advocacy (20%) Serve as (Internal/External) spokesperson on Latinx economic sustainability needs. Attend regular community partner meetings serving as an advocate for equitable outcomes, funding, and implementation of best practices. Work with finance to provide the timely delivery of financial statements and reports Administration (10%) Ensure EPHC's policies and procedures are communicated and followed. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and funders. Support Executive Director in the development of department budgets and funding plans. Actively participate in leadership, and all-staff meetings. Actively support the organization's fundraising initiatives. Maintain records and prepare all required reports, in conjunction with Finance and Development teams. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by the Executive Director. COMPENSATION: Salary range is $70,000 - $80,000/year, based on education and experience. Location & Typical Working Conditions: The majority of work performed by this position can be accomplished in a hybrid/remote work environment, though frequent in-person meetings will be required. There are times that work requires in person, onsite activities. On-site work is located at EPHC's offices in Gresham, OR. Job duties may require occasional travel, and evening and weekend work depending on project deadlines.
