QDI Construction, Inc. is a full service General Construction company headquartered in Tampa, FL specializing in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) development throughout the State of Florida. We are currently looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role will supervise day-to-day construction activities on projects throughout Florida. A qualified candidate should have at least four (4) years of experience in residential or commercial construction. The ability to read and comprehend blueprints and plans, and experience running the day-to-day activities of a construction site are required. Previous experience working with restaurant construction is a plus. In addition, the qualified candidate should have: The ability to translate information from site/building plans and effectively communicate that information to crew personnel and subcontractors. A strong, dedicated work ethic, with a track record of operating with integrity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an impeccable attention to detail. Outstanding time management and project organization skills. Knowledge of OSHA requirements, construction scheduling, and ADA codes. Proven safety track record, with the ability to review jobsites for potential safety hazards and determine appropriate corrective actions. Verifiable history of bringing projects to completion on time and within budget, while maintaining workmanship that conforms to all specifications. The ability to work weekends and travel as needed.
