Crew - Back of House Department: Operations FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-time COMPANY CONFORMANCE STATEMENT: In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following: Reasonable and reliable attendance Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision Interact professionally with other employees, customers and/or vendors Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees. POSITION PURPOSE: This position is responsible for working in the restaurant making guest orders while helping us achieve our mission statement: To Profitably Provide Consistently Good Food and Great Service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. To request accommodation, please contact Human Resources. Read ticket orders and prepare all guest orders accordingly and in compliance with product portioning specifications. Prepare all GPI food products in compliance with GPI standards and within allowable service times. Collect money from customers and make change if needed. Clean and restock make table, cut table, and dough sheeting area. Cleaning of restaurant and grounds to meet GPI standards in compliance with the Operations Manual. Clean and sanitize wall surfaces, work surfaces and equipment (must be 18 years of age to clean the Hobart mixer, vegetable dicer and dough roller). Label prepared products to GPI standards as stated in the Operations Manual. Use a variety of kitchen equipment to prepare food products. (Must be 18 years of age to operate the Hobart mixer, vegetable dicer and dough roller.) Adhere to proper sanitation procedures in compliance with health department standards. Complete all bus/dish duties as needed (see bus/dish job description). Other duties as needed for restaurant to run efficiently and effectively. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
