JFS is seeking an engaged Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R) to provide mental health treatment to older adults & seniors in our outpatient OMH licensed clinic on Delaware Avenue. Does your education and experience coupled with your patient demeanor allow you to provide unparalleled psychotherapy and counseling to clients? Does your toolkit include evidence-based, trauma-focused systemic interventions & therapy to individuals diagnosed with a broad range of psychiatric disorders? Are you open to meeting with clients in office and home settings to facilitate exceptional client care and treatment? Are you certified as an LCSW or LCSW-R? WHAT YOU'LL BRING Must be licensed in NYS as a LCSW or LCSW-R Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques Organized and able to balance a varied caseload Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Computer proficiency and ability to effectively utilize medical record systems WHY JOIN JFS? It is also eligible for a performance-based opportunity and the Public Service Student Loan forgiveness program. We are closed on weekends and all major holidays to allow our staff to enjoy a family-work life balance and there is no on-call duties. Additionally, we have a reduced 35 hour work week with the office closing at 2:00 pm on Fridays! We are conveniently located off of Delaware Avenue with free parking. This position requires evidence of having received the Covid-19 vaccination and requires an OMH background check, reliable vehicle, a clean driver's license and required liability insurance levels of 100/300K.
