Status: Full-time, exempt Schedule: M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 37.5 hour per week. This position may include occasional evening and weekend work and/or travel based on business needs/position requirements. This is an exempt position and there may be a need to work outside of core hours based on the duties and responsibilities of the position. Summary of Position: The Director, Global Enrollment Management oversees the day-to-day functioning of the GEM department and determines the priorities, assigns workloads, and sets strategic direction for the department. The Director serves as a direct supervisor within the GEM department and provide training, development, assistance and knowledge to the GEM Managers and GEM Specialists. In addition to GEM, the Director oversees enrollment operations related to SAF, Internship Programs and Customized Programs. The Director also manages all aspects of the financial aid program, including application processing, awarding of aid, monitoring the budget and communicating with students and schools. The Director is also considered a primary organizational ddata miner and analyst. Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties: Provide both strategic direction and daily oversight for all the GEM department functions. Serve as a leader within and outside the department to provide guidance, assistance, and a strong knowledge base on all GEM issues Oversee departmental budget and multi-million-dollar financial aid budget; assure that budget covers all anticipated expenses in the fiscal year; perform required budget reviews/adjustments in accordance with schedule issued by Finance Manage specific operations and admissions functions for SAF, Internship Programs and Customized Programs. Working closely with EVP, provide accurate enrollment projections four times per fiscal year. Monitor student database, client relations management system and online predeparture forms for correct functioning; liaise with IT department and/or product vendors as necessary. Oversee the processing of student visa applications; assure proper staffing to meet visa deadlines; ensure security of all documents. Provide accurate information and timely follow-up for the following important constituents: CRMs, Academics, Accounting, IT, Marketing, Advancement, IES Center staff, school coordinators and parents. Commit to and demonstrate values and promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism. Manage all aspects of the financial program, including processing aid applications, making appropriate aid offers, regularly monitoring aid budget, maintaining aid website and keeping all aid options up to date; liaise regularly with Advancement and Finance regarding aid budget lines. Serve organizations need for reports and analysis of enrollment data. Work collaboratively with EVP and HR staff to assure proper staffing based on seasonal workloads. Provide a comprehensive training program for all new GEM staff. Assure that admissions timelines are adhered to and that new enrollment cycles are initiated in a timely manner Provide ongoing analysis of such areas as the, entering GPAs, conversion ratios of applicants to enrolled students, direct admit statistics, member school analysis, application turn-around time, financial aid reporting, visa ACCeSS analysis, etc. Issue organization-wide enrollment progress report once weekly Any other task or duty as assigned or required Experience & Qualifications/Skills: Minimum three years' previous administrative management experience, preferably in a higher education or not-for-profit environment with data entry management a strong plus Experience in financial aid and visa operations preferred. Experience in enrollment management is preferred. Ability to demonstrate values and promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism required. Familiarity with databases, especially student databases and client relations management systems a plus; experience with analyzing and reporting admission related data required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, mail merges, etc.) required. International study and/or work experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills required. Strong problem-solving skills required. Demonstrated leadership skills and management skills required. Exceptionally detail oriented required. Team player with a collaborative working style required. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects required. Ability to follow-through on all aspects of a project within a specific deadline required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
