The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to cultivate a community where all people are respectfully supported and empowered to embrace opportunities for learning, growth and economic security.Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency is seeking a Domestic Violence On Call Advocate in our Family and Victim Services program. The DVIP On-Call Advocate provides direct services, through the Agency's 24-hour hotline, to victims of domestic violence and their children, while serving as a liaison between victims of domestic violence and law enforcement, the courts, social services, and other service providers.The DVIP On-Call Advocate must have the following minimum qualifications: Associates degree in human services or related field required. One year experience working with victims of domestic violence or two years of on-call experience in a related field.This is an on call, non-exempt position. Per diem rates are $75.00 per night (Friday from 5:00 pm - Monday 9:00 am), $55.00 per night (Monday- Thursday, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 am) and $85.00 on Holidays.
