JOB SUMMARY: Vali Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the US Army located in Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA. The successfully candidate will be well organized, analytical, mindful of details, and a self-motivator with a background in engineering sciences. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs professional engineering work which require primarily the application and knowledge of engineering sciences, mathematics and the principles, techniques, and practices of electronics/electrical engineering. Performs research, design/development, testing, analysis, estimating, and fabrication of electrical/electronic system, subsystem, wiring harness, cable assemblies, circuit card assemblies and other electrical/electronic based components. Analyzes/develops system requirements; develops specifications, solutions and alternatives as part of engineering studies; and assesses risks and costs to satisfy those requirements. Formulates preliminary designs, performs tests, takes measurements, performs system analyses of simulations. Applies reverse engineering and re-engineering disciplines to develop production planning and manufacturing documents. JOB REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): BS in Electrical Engineering 3yrs experience required. Masters/PhD may sub for up to 1 year of experience. Utilization of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and associated Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software Possess strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. Requires the ability to express technical knowledge in a clear, concise and coherent manner to potentially audiences of a less technical background.
