Summary/Objective Machine simple parts to support engineering and manufacturing requirements. Duties & Responsibilities 1) Keep daily log of work performed. 2) Follow engineering manufacturing drawings to fabricate parts or follow engineering or manufacturing engineer instruction to fabricate fixtures and/or test samples. 3) Machine parts to support prototype hardware as well as manufacturing fixtures and tooling. 4) Disassemble products for rework and troubleshooting. 5) Maintain shop equipment. 6) Report damages to supervisor. Position Requirements Experience Required: 3+ years of machine shop experience Education Required: H.S. Diploma or Equivalent & 1 year of technical school Skills/Competencies: Ability to read blueprints, machine shop equipment (lathe, drilling press, bandsaw, milling machine, etc.), good oral and written communication skills Work Environment: Machine Shop Physical Demands: Ability to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must frequently lift and or move up to 25 lbs.
