The City of Birmingham, MI, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking candidates interested in two seasonal laborer positions at the City golf courses. Under supervision of the Golf Manager, this is seasonal laborer work in various capacities, playing a vital role in making Birmingham a great place to live, work, and play! Golf Course Maintenance: Seeking candidates interested in outdoor work with knowledge of small power tools and mowing equipment. Basic knowledge of golf, and experience with golf course equipment preferred. Golf Course Clubhouse: Seeking candidates to assist with scheduling tee times, preparing hot and cold food items, monitoring merchandise, and assisting with general control of the golf course clubhouse. Customer service or food preparation skills preferred. Requirements: Interested candidates must be able to work outdoors in a maintenance capacity. Prior grounds keeping or golf pro shop experience is a plus. Wages: Pay range of $12.00-$15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Special Compensation: $200 bonus paid to employees upon scheduled assignment completion. Paid leave up to a maximum of 6 days off, depending on hours worked through assignment.
