Description:
Provide a variety of duties to ensure safe and economical operations; general building maintenance and maintaining fire safety codes. Responsible for attending to a variety of maintenance situations ie: plumbing, electrical and mechanical, carpentry, painting, and janitorial . A high school diploma or GED is required and a West Virginia Contracting license is preferred. Experience in maintenance is required. Provide building and ground maintenance services. Must be willing to learn and take initiative to carry out new tasks. Must be able to work above and below ground level, ascend and descend ladders up to 50 feet, work in cramped quarters and lift, with or without assistance, up to 50 pounds. Must be able to use hand tools and power tools. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills: carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, machine repair, plant layout, painting, and janitorial .
