K-5 INTERVENTIONIST (updated January 2023) K- 5 Interventionist - 10 month Full-time Salary- $18 - $20 per hour Comprehensive benefits package at no additional cost to the employees SCHOOL DESCRIPTION West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School is an inner-city Arts and Technology K-5 Elementary School seeking a high-energy, passionate, and data-driven individual to join our professional community an Interventionist. We are a family-oriented environment with family and community involvement being an integral part of our mission to enrich the lives of our students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct instruction in the areas of math, reading and writing for identified groups and individual students. Provides support and assistance to all classroom teachers in the full implementation of the school's adopted programs through data analysis/interpretation. Participate in collaborative instructional planning. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, support staff, parents, and students. Supports students virtually and in-person. Supporting RTI/MTSS interventions Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS 2 + years working with elementary students Bachelor's degree in education or related field Must be able to obtain or currently have all background clearances (Federal, PA State, & Child Abuse).
