The Arc Ontario Facilities Specialist Salary: $17.24- $18.37 Position Overview Do you love variety throughout your day? Being a part of our facilities team may be just the fit for you! You would provide a support service to ensure the safety and upkeep of The Arc Ontario's Facilities. Work Location: Ontario County Schedule: M-F 30 hours/wk with rotating on-call responsibilities. Our Culture Investing in our staff while thriving in a flexible and fun work environment! The Arc Ontario Story: Founded in 1954 we believe that All individuals with disabilities or other challenges are one with their community. Responsibilities Performs a variety of maintenance services on a routine and as‑needed basis including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, snow removal, grounds upkeep, and mechanical services. Completes work orders promptly, based on the urgency of the need. Meets regularly with the Facilities Manager to review work needs and schedule repairs. Requirements Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Related experience preferred. On-the-job training offered. High school diploma or equivalent to journeyman level and over three (3) years experience in general maintenance, building trades, or custodial services or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience.
