When traumatic situations occur, our staff is there to assist the individual or family with their journey of healing and recovery. Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully. Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center, a program of Family Services, provides a safe, child-friendly facility with a home-like atmosphere where children can begin their healing journey. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and resourceful Therapist who can work well as a member of our team and is passionate about developing and implementing innovative, effective solutions to help children and families heal. The Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic services to help children as young as three years of age and their caregivers cope with and recover from experiences of child sexual or physical abuse or exposure to other violent crimes. Willow Tree is a part of a multidisciplinary team approach with law enforcement, child protective services, and the District Attorney's office who work together to provide a more compassionate response to victims of child abuse. Qualified candidates for this fulltime position will have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other closely related mental health discipline. This position also requires Wisconsin State certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Professional Counselor (LPC) and are eligible for Medical Assistance, Medicare (if applicable) and other third party reimbursement.
