We pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming and friendly dining experience for all of our customers at Swan Lake Resort and want your help to maintain it. Swan Lake Resort is looking for energetic and motivated servers to ensure our guests have a great experience while dining at the resort. We have openings for servers both at Dickies Restaurant and Putter's Bar & Grille. Job Responsibilities Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving. Complete opening and closing checklists. Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations. Attempt to up-sell food and beverage items. Properly open and serve wine/champagne bottles. Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or at the end of the meal. Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments and returning proper change. Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. Resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. Assign other duties as assigned by the Manager or Lead Servers. Job Skills & Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be at least 19 years of age. Must have an Indiana Liquor Permit and Indiana Server Training Certificate or willing to obtain them. Great customer service skills. Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates. Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 30 pounds. Push/Pull cart and other equipment up to 100 pounds. Requires standing, walking and bending throughout shift. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
