Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC , a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients. We are is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician VI. This position is located in Quantico, VA , with extended support of up to five (5) additional locations ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED Responsibilities: Perform engineering functions such as developing operational systems concepts, performing system trade studies, originating design concepts or performing systems level test and integration test for highly complex systems Design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Prepare designs and specifications for various complex equipment or systems (e.g., a heating system in an office building, or new electronic components such as solid-state devices for instrumentation equipment) Plan approach to solve design problems Conceive and recommend new design techniques Resolve design problems with contract personnel, and assures compatibility of design with other parts of the system; Design and coordinates test set-ups and experiments to prove or disprove the feasibility of preliminary design Use untried and untested measurement techniques; and improves the performance of the equipment. Arrange for fabrication of pilot models and determines test procedures and design of special test equipment. Capable of independently planning and accomplishing complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity Qualifications: Active Secret Security Clearance Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program; or High School diploma or GED. 12 years with degree/formal training or 14 years with HS/GED of practical experience Skills: Excellent oral and written skills. Excellent critical thinking skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
